Taking the dog in the 'vert

Anyone have any solutions for KEEPING a small dog in the car when the top's down? I have a miniature pinscher who has gotten very used to hopping from passenger seat to backseat while driving with me in my old mazda3... but clearly she needs to be restrained in a 'vert.

What works well and what doesn't, for those of you like me whose dogs are their copilots

My MINIature American Eskimo Dog has a harness that clicks into the seatbelt. Works quite well.

I am on NEMINI, and i will do that. I do have "small dog" concerns, especially because the little thing just LOVES to look out the window, and can get out of just about any harness i put her in. thank you!

After all this time, we have the only dog in the world that does not seem to like riding in a convertible! Just sits there and stares straight ahead. He likes riding in the wife's element better. I think he is nervous being out in the open....

We bought doggles for our dog for his birthday for the cabrio ...he's a 55 lb Boxer so he's not flying out. I'm sure companies make seatbelts for dogs that click in, like the one mentioned above.
