I don't think you will see much difference between the two. Either one should do fine.

If i were you i'd go with the Typhoon system, because when i was looking at their website the 57i kit didn't show any positive performance gains. Also i think you'll like the sound and look of the Typhoon. Also if your not 100% stuck on K&N you should look in to Webb Motorsports intake. Every one that i've talked to has said the Webb intake has been the best when compared to others like the Alta and other like intakes.

Well I looked at the site but the only intake they have is for the Cooper S, I don't have one of those, I have just the cooper, and also I went to the webb site and all they have is the helix intake

yeah you know to be 100% honest that completely slipped my mind when i was writing that. However ill ask around with some of they guys in the MINI club hear in denver and see what they say..but im sure if you just went with the typhoon intake you'd be more then pleased with the result.

Hey man so I talked to a few buddies of mine and they said that for the cooper the k&n are the best. As far as the sound I'm sure you'll be happy with the typhoon. Hope that helped some.
