Hey,
today, I went kind of torwards our downtown area, for a cruise. Just a few seconds ago, I was watching the news, and saw a MINI same colors, and thank god for the satellite rewind thing, and yep, there I was inside of my MINI. It was sweet, to see my cool MINI on tv. Not that it was anything important, but hey, I think it's cool.

Good and bad about this.
Good, is that there a coolness factor at play with seeing yourself and your MINI on tv when you didn't even know it.
Bad, is that now your significant other (if you have one) knows where you were, when you were out. Were you good or bad?

Hey - that's pretty cool :smile: :smile: :smile: One of our fellow MINIacs was spotted on TV here last week - when we had flooding, she was stuck behind a Public Works Vehicle. :smile: However, they were nice enough to clear the road enough for her to turn around and go another way :smile:

I'm still waiting to see someone running from the cops with the runflat tires so spikes might not be to affective, and just the sheer handling, I think there should be an award

A general unpaid endorsement. I have Dish Network. I have their Dish PVR digital recorder. It is fantastic. It allows for rewinding of TV, easy recording of shows (keeps up to 35 hours onboard) and has standard outputs to run to a VCR or computer to preserve. I know not everyone can get onboard with the little dish, but if you can, I highly recommend it and WITH the PVR.
