Hey All,
I just got a cool invitation from Mini of Nahville for an Italian Supper, a MINI parade to the theater, and then a sneak preview of the movie, The Italian Job. I read the Hollywood invitation here a couple of days ago, and although the road trip sounds neat, it's a bit too far. Nashville on the other hand is only 40 miles from here. I'm goin! Anyone else get a similar invitation from your "local" dealer?

I don't have a local dealer, and the dealer I bought from treat me like a criminal when I go back there, so I doubt I'll get any presents like that.

I did get free passes to an advanced screening of the Movie from a Paramount rep when I took my MINI to watch an Italian Job stunt driver perform for a local TV station.

 

I just got my confirmation for the mini only premiere of 'The Italian Job' on this coming tuesday...
It's at Paramount Studios in L.A.

I've only been back to the dealer once since Sept. 02, and I got lost among the high rollers in to get their BMW's serviced. The dealership WAS friendly though (BMW Side)

I got invited too. Southampton LI. About 60 miles from my house. Started another post before I saw yours.

They just said "party", no Italian Dinner....though who knows.

Was it on a card that said "Let's Party" with 3 IJ MINI's on it?

I don't have the card in front of me right now, I just remember it being mostly black. I called the RSVP #, and got a message. In less then an hour, they returned my call and confirmed my reservation. I have bought over 25 cars in my life, and have never been treated like this.......it makes you think, does it not?

BRG/B MCS w/Sport & Premimum Packages, black leatherette/anthracite. No special markings to distinguish other than USA Waterski decal on driver's side window right behind the door.

Car's home is in Gallatin.

 

Anyone going to the MOH in Southampton NY /29?

 

My dealer (Prestige Mini in New Jersey) is also having a prictae screening at a local theater on 5/29/03.

 

Ordered my MCS two weeks ago and it won't be here before July. Dealer invited me and my SO to the premier here in Miami anyway. I figured we'd go in the MG and still be among friends :smile:

 

My local dealer also invited me to a private screening @ a local theater too. Unfortunatley my husband is getting an operation that day. I'm so upset! I really wish we could go. I guess it would be insensitive of me to go anyway !!!

I posted in here a few weeks ago about the original MINI club in Denver (Mini Of The Rockies - MOTR) being invited to go to the preview.

I'm looking forward to it! Get sme pictures of the cars and post them. I'll be doing that after our premire.

 

I sent a note about this to my MA at MINI of Towson (MD) but haven't heard anything back yet.
