So, now, my DS/B MCS has been built and is booked on the Tosca, scheduled to leave Southampton 05/20/03 and arrive @ Charleston, SC 05/31/03. Do I have any ship-mates yet? And, for y'all who are already driving your Minis, how long do you think it'll take to get my car off the ship in SC and here in Atlanta for me to pick-up?

I'm on the same ship. I almost bought my MINI from Hank Aaron but I ended up getting a fractionally better deal from Roadshow in Memphis. I'm in Alabama, btw.

Hey guys, my BRG MCS should also be on board the Tosca. I'm also curious how long until it makes it down to the dealership here in Texas, probably within a couple weeks after it docks.

My Indie Blue MC is on the Tosca as well. But she's getting dropped off in New York.

My JB/JB MCS will be on the Tosca, and will also disembark in NY for delivery to Chicago. I'm guessing a couple weeks from port to dealer; maybe less for those of you closer to the delivery port.

Cheers,

James

The Tosca has set sail from the UK but my car still only says it was received at the terminal. Does that mean my car isn't on the boat or could it be they haven't updated that half yet?

Azure, go to the Willenius Wilhelmson website.

Select Track Cargo by Auto and enter the last 7 characters of your VIN number. Then you should see what ship your car is on.

If you want to see that ship's sailing schedule, select the Schedules link on the left-hand side of the website.

Select search by vessel. Type in the Tosca and you'll see the ship's sailing schedule, ports, etc.

Chances are you made it. But I only speak from experience. I was following along on the W&W site today and my car said 'received at terminal' all day. Even after the ship sailed. I was sure I missed the cut. But later in the day I checked to see if I could find out if I was scheduled for another boat and, to my amazement, it said I was loaded on the TOSCA. So if you haven't already, check again.

You're right mild. She's on the boat. Can't wait, since I should be receiving my Mini just as my summer semester ends. What a great way to start the summer.

You can include my BGR/B Cooper on the boat too! Eventually bound for San Antonio, TX.

It's almost MORE painful knowing where it is.....
