Hello all and yes I am sure this has been done before but here goes....

first my MC spec...
basicly no options except sport seats and Sport Suspension +... Black/White with White 7 hole wheels... april 03 build, I picked it up exactly a week ago today.

Well obviously I love it!!!! I am very very happy with my suspension and wheel tire choices... the ride is firm but not harsh (I pumped up the tires to 42 psi front 41 psi rear) so I get the advantage of the SS+ on race days (autocross) and the ride of the 15" non runflat tires day to day... even on the 15s the handling is superb... and I can't wait to run 16s and race tires on June 1st (my MINIs autocross debut). My purchase at Global Imports in Atlanta went very well (they had a bad rep for a while but seem to be trying very hard to fix that).... I am still keeping below 4500 rpm (most of the time) and I am quite sure my MINI is stronger than the demo cooper I drove!!! YAY!! I am also happy with the anthricite interior and leatherett seats... I recomend the sport seats as my one MUST have option.

Now all that said here are the little things.... first off the car does have a few rattles... which I was expecting and not really bothered by... I do have one in the left rear wheel well / seat area I would like to find and fix .... the rest I can deal with!! Also the car seemed to stumble arround 2000 rpms but that seems to be getting better now (just over 500 miles on it ).... so now I am just waiting till I can open this bad little car up..... it has been so very hard to keep things below 4500 rpms!!!! still even with that limit getting up to the 80 MPH Atlanta hi way speeds has not been a problem

For those ordering a cooper soon I highly recomend both the sport seats and SS+ with the 15" wheel package!!! Motor on everyone and I will give one more report after June 1st so you all can see how things develop and how my MINI does on its first Autocross runs ....
