Was out Saturday night (and sober may I add) when I heard the painful sound of my S-lites grindingg the curb. I now have a 12" curb rash along the outer lip. It's ugly. Will this affect my run flat's performance? Any fixes other than wheel replacement? If so, does anyone have a spare silver 17" S-lite wheel thay can sell me?

tisk, tisk, tisk.
The only performance that will be hampered is your aesthetic performance, shot straight to hell!

Yep, I'm afraid you'll now have to go buy a set of 18" SSR Comp's and a three-day driving school at Skip Barber

Actually there are people who can fix the wheel. We have a guy who comes to the dealership and repairs scratched wheels on MINIs all the time.

It happens to us at least once, or close to happening at least once. Not that this really helps you any. Just thought I'd share.
Check the Marketplace forum. There's usually a slew of tires and rims for sale.
Best of luck with the search and the fix/replacement.
Cheers,

The GoodYear All-Season's have a similar "rim protector" but did nothing when I MASHED mine

I have my Summer Rims on for now until I get the white S-lites repaired eventually.
