R50/53 big brake package?
Bigger brakes have more rotating mass than smaller rotors. Also you cannot fit 15"s on them. These are the reasons I chose to go with OEM diameter Powerslot Cryo-tempered rotors. With the right pads and lines/fluid, they are probably just as good, not to mention cheaper.
I haven't done it yet, but I'm about to order up a JCW Brake kit for my MCS. Morristown MINI has a good deal on them and I can install it myself (besides, I need to do a brake job anyway)
I'll post an update and review once it is done.

tce/wilwood!!
I LOVE the TCE/wilwood 12.2 kit on my car-and-the total combined weight of all the components of stock vs the stuff in the kit IS 9 LBS LESS!! THATS RIGHT, THE TCE 12.2 KIT, With BIGGER ROTORS, 4 PISTON CALIPERS AND MOUNTS ARE MUCH LIGHTER THAN STOCK! While the factory brakes on these cars are very good, it isn't even a close comparison to how hard the car stops with this combo!!
