BORLA SPORT yes or no?

Some here have said that the Borla Sport Exhaust is a bit boomy. As a driver who does not listen to his radio, cd player etc (i don't even know if i have one) is the sound of that exhaust overbearing or is it music to a drivers ears? With that said, are there any other musical exhausts out there i should consider? I am new to the forum & new to Minis, but not new to 4 wheeled machinery. My last car had a B&B Tri Flow 4" dual exhaust at the rear and i loved the sound it made! If it sounds nasty, it's a good thing!

Buy it. Get it.

I don't have my MINI anymore. I have a Ferrari 328.

I still miss the sound of my MINI with a Borla.

Buy it.

Borla

I have the Borla exhaust on my 2003 MINI non S and love it. It sounds great through the gears, it is alittle loud at 70-90, the faster you go the louder it gets, but has a deep rich tone, I get lots of comments on how good it sounds.

I have a Borla Sport/Race on my wife's 04 MCS. With a throaty Borla exhaust in a MINI, you'll definitely get some looks.

There is nothing sweeter than the sound of the Borla Sport exhaust while passing a bunch of Corvettes in a tunnel in my MINI. First its the sound that gets them, then the look of astonishment when they see its a MINI that's going by.

It's a bit overwhelming at first, but then it grows on you!

Borla Street is barely louder than stock

Borla Race is NOT loud. It does get boomy inside at times but really not at all that loud from the outside if your used to louder exhausts.

if your used to a Lexus, then yes, its loud.

is Borla Race the same as Borla Sport? There seems to be some differences on that particular issue. Anyone know?

Sorry, that is wrong. Just go to the Borla web sight and look it up.

Borla sells two versions: Street and Aggressive. Agressive is sometimes referred to as Race.
