Not sure if anyone has asked.. but has anyone successfully set up an apartment gate system into the garage door opener feature in the MINI?

I park in an underground parking garage and its run by a gate system with a keychain remote.. wasnt sure if this was possible? Any success from anyone?

 

I use my on the parking gate at work. Definitely works. Probably depends on the lift manufacturer though.
