New baby is in the garage...
Picked up my new 06 BRG Cooper today. The 3 hour drive home was great. Although it is the break-in period, it was still enjoyable even though it was mostly interstate.
The only negative, which has been mentioned many times before... CHEAP PAINT.
So thin it only has one side. 150 miles on the speedo and I have a rock chip already. I thought I could get home intact and get the Expel installed but I guess it wasn't ment to be. Now I have to get some touch-up paint before the installer can do his work. I also expect to get my winter tires installed early next week.
I'm looking forward to the Dragon in a few months. Mini in May then Z3 in September. It will be a great year.

Congratulations on the new baby!!!! Sorry to hear about the rock chip, I know from expericance how painful the first one can be. I got mine three weeks after I brought it home... and I am still waiting for the touch up paint to get in (back ordered). Happy Motoring!!!

Congrats!
I know what you mean about scuffs on the new car... I have all of 280 miles on our second MINI, and someone managed to let a Target parkling lot shopping cart tip over in the wind, and scuff/scratch the front of our aero kit.
Time to get out the orbital buffer and polishing compound.
As someone once said.. "It's always something!"
Don't let it get you down. You still have a great car in the garage!
