Morristown MINI Parts

Ordered several hundred dollars worth of A&A for my Mini last week from Morristown over the net. Do they acknowledge your order via e-mail, or do they just ship and it shows up?

I ordered from them, and had the similar experience of not knowing what was going on. I ended up calling them a couple of times, because appearently they don't send out confirmation e-mails. But, my stuff arrived eventually and the order was correct. I will order from them again because i can't find anyone local who sells for the same or less.

There prices are good, but guess I will have to call and see if they got the order or not.

Never again are we ordering from Morristown. Customer Service and communication SUCKS!!! We also spent several hundred on more than one transaction and now we are done. Still waiting for a replacement boost guage from them since October....they have it in stock but for some reason they have not found the time to ship it!

I would not recommend using this dealership.

I'm kind of supprised by these replies. I never received any confirmations of my first order, but maybe was my goof up. Called them and they said they had no record of my on line order. Told me to try and submit my order again. Tried again and got a reply confirming my order and shipping requirements with in a few moments. Maybe my experience will be more positive. I though by the posts I've read on NAM that they were a premeir parts and service supplier.

I have gotten a lot of parts from Morristown MINI and never had a problem. Their communication does need to improve although their low prices make up for that. I usually e-mail them what I need and they reply with a pay-pal invoice and I receive my order in a timely fashion. Sometimes it takes a couple e-mails to open up a line of communication with that though.

I ordered a bunch of stuff from them with no problem whatsoever. I spoke with Nick (parts manager) directly. I highly recommend them and will order more from them in the future. If only my local dealer was more flexible on their pricing....

I live local to Morristown and was there last week picking up a SaddleBag and they were interviewing a young lady to coordinate their internet sales. It didn't seem that they were looking for someone with lots of eBay or internet sales experience as I heard them ask "have you ever used eBay?" but it shows they are sensitive to their current deficiencies in that area and hopefully things will change for the better.

What makes me crazy is that they won't sell me the parts over the counter at the internet price although they do let me pick them up and don't charge shipping. Go figure.

And Motor On.

Rich

Re-submitted my order yesterday morning after talking to Morristown. This morning I had a tracking order from FedEX and and e-mail from Nick telling me parts were in stock and have been shipped. Supposed to arrive tomorrow. Can't complain about their service at this point. Will follow up with forum as more transpires.

Did you click and confirm all of the screens?

Seems to me that my order through them on the internet required a few more steps compared to most "add to shopping cart" orders.

Service and delivery was great. ................maybe user error?

The first time thru, I think I missed one of the confirms on the last screen. Was my fault for sure.

I have ordered things on several occasions from Morristown MINI via their website. I've never had a problem although they are sometimes slow to ship. I prefer dealing with them by placing orders through the internet than having to play email tag with Classic. To each their own, though.

So far what everyone is saying is correct about the initial shipping process.

Just keep your fingers crossed that nothing is wrong with your parts and that is does not require exchanging. That is where I am having problems with them.

I got a set of driving lights from one of their ebay auctions. The transaction was very smooth and the lights were as advertised and arrived in about a week. Beat the heck out of getting them and having them installed at the dealer. I installed them myself and ended up with about $320 in them including buying a rivet gun at Home Depot.

I ordered the JCW CF downtubes from their site and recieved them pretty quick with no problems. Then recently I ordered the JCW wheel on eBay and thought it would again be seemless. Several days after the order I got an email asking what kind I wanted leather or alcantara, oops my bad forgot to specify. Then 3 days after that I get another email asking me to specify what kind of wheel I wanted with hope that they would here from me soon! Im just overly anxious and want that cool wheel on my car but I would use their website or call them just for peace of mind. So far the wait continues and a eye my inbox. Morristown send me my alcantara wheel!! Great prices btw.

Received my package with all the A&A I had ordered from Morristown. Everything came through in great shape, new and in factory boxes. My experience shopping on line with them has been great! I'd surely use them again.

I live very close to M-town Mini, and work like 5 minutes away. I'm actually hoping to buy an 04 S from them in the next couple of days. If you need me to swing in there to crack a few heads.

Got my JCW exhaust and Aux Audio Input from them. They also did the install on my exhaust. Both transactions couldn't have gone smoother.

Your order has been entered into oblivion

I ordered something from them recently, and the order status never updated. It continues to say "processing". Sending them email through their Contact Us webform results in a bounce, with
"User mailbox exceeds allowed size: webleads@mail.bmwmorristown.com" as the reason. (Give it a try. Send email to webleads@mail.bmwmorristown.com; it will bounce.)

When I called them, they said the order had been received properly and would ship soon.

+1 on thinking it's silly to not be able to get the internet price in person, but it is nice to go pick it up in person -- I've had no problems ordering from Morristown, but I've done personal pickup.

edit: I got an email confirmation.

I just ordered an aero package from them on Saturday. So far, other than the automatic e-mail response you normally get when you place an internet order, I've heard nothing from them. My order status says "processing", so I guess than means they're working on it.
