Do you think Bentley will make a updated service manual to include the 2005 and 2006 Model years? Just curious because I know MINI updated a few things that would effect the accuracy of the manual for the later years (Tranny's, lighting, interior, etc.). Also do you think they would include any JCW stuff too?

Do a search on this, it has already been covered. Basically, after a lot of letter/email writing, Bentley has reluctantly agreed to cover the 2005-06 Minis too. Not sure if it will be a supplement, an updated manual, or just a new manual for the newer models, but word is to expect something by this spring.

I bagged a Haynes MINI manual off eBay for $29. (price includes
shipping). But will keep my out for a shop manual that includes the
2006.

I just did a search and found this on the Bentley forums:

"We are currently updating the 2002-2004 MIMI manual to cover 2002-2006, including convertible and whatever applicable JCW (John Cooper Works) factory info we can find. It should available by March 2007.

The 2007-on MINI would represent a new project.
