Jacksonville, FL -

While I was at lunch I saw an Electric Blue MCS on JTB

THEN on the way home from picking up dinner I saw a Pure Silver on Park St (This one lives in my neighborhood - I spied it one day on the way home when he left the garage door open).

I was so excited to see the silver, I turned right in front of it and I wanted to honk and wave...then I realized I was still in the Altima because my Chili Red is on the boat in the middle of the ocean right now. :smile:

 

Orange County -- CA

Actually saw 2 today...the first was a VR/B MC on 17th street in Costa Mesa, the 2nd is a PW/B that I am looking at from the window in my office on Redhill Ave. in Costa Mesa. Well, I did see my VR/W MC today too

 

On the way to St. Pete last night, I jockied with a PW/B for a few miles on 275. I saw a SG/W one on 275 heading the opposite direction. Then on the way back from St. Pete, I met up with a DS/W MCS...he smiled and waved! Yay!!

I saw a PW/B at my bank today...

I saw a SG/W on my way home from Orlando today, as well as a VR/W.

Many MINIs!!

Just motoring around, saw a light silver and black MCS, behind me, very slow driver, and he wouldnt try to catch up to me. A few minutes later, saw another light silver black "GO FAST" painted all over the side, very fast driver, I didn't really want to try to keep up with him, don't yet have any tickets, and would like to keep t that way. :smile:. Don't think that either of them saw me though, they werent paying very good attention.

 

i see the same mini everyday. its red its not a s and its in sewickley pa. its always a woman drivin it

Alltogether, I have only seen about 4 Mini's when not on a rally. There cool. I wouldn't mind getting one in the future.

Overall, I have seen far fewer than expected. I also see far fewer while on interstates, and more in cities.
In Galveston, TX - where I live - I have seen 5 other MINIs so far. I have seen another 5 in Houston. On my drive to Seattle I saw none (zero, zilch, zip) on the road until I got to Spokane, WA, where I saw one. In Seattle, I have seen at least another 7, and yesterday on I-5 to/from Bellingham saw 2.

 

I'm in Austin, Texas.

In the 6 months I've been interested in the MINI, I've seen about 5. 2 Chili Red, 1 Dark Silver, 1 Indy Blue and one Black. I can go weeks without seeing one.

 

I hadn't seen one for a while then today, bam!
Walking around downtown I saw an ole mini, red with white bonnet stripes that had very well maintained. Then coming back from McClintocks tonight I saw a new white one with a black hood.

 

I drove to Orlando, FL yesterday and spied 6 MINIs: 2 LY/W, LY/B (with bonnet stripes), SG/W, CR/W(at Mall of Mellenia), IB/W. I saw all of them except the CR/W on I-4.

I saw a lot more MINIs in Orlando than I do here in Jacksonville.

 

Today in Denver, CO I was taking my son to school in my MCS, and just leaving my neighborhood, I saw DaveinDenver, in his Drk Silver and black MCS with the Blk hood scoop, (Looks great Dave) and about 30 seconds later, there was another Drk Silver Blk MCS. Yesterday, I saw a white original Mini with a british flag roof.

I have seen 3 other MINIs in town; an EB/W, DS/B and LY/W

This past weekend I "motored" to Las Vegas roundtrip 989 miles and did not
see another MINI on the road. Saw only one parked in downtown LV, a PS/B.

Still rather rare, particularly on the open road.
