I will agree with most of this except that the Pearl was more Dark Silver than Black....

Thou shall remember that Chili Red is not the only color, and all colors should be loved equally. However, body colored roofs are indeed faster due to lack of extra white, black or silver paint and the weight associated with stated paint. (Besides, Solar Red is prettier than CR anyways.)

Thou shall recognize that bonnet stripes just add weight and drag along the edges therein, making said MINI slower.
