Yes my FRIEND you do !!! After being bumped from the AIDA,ISOLDE,and the HUDSON LEADER it is with great pleasure i can say i am sailing the great ship DON JUAN!! (( not a bad idea for vanity plates ))

 

Oh wow... I've only been bumped off the hudson leader, and i honestlly think that my car didn't even make port by the time she left...

My vin# comes up on the Don Juan - says it was loaded on Saturday. I have a booking # and everything - and, according to the WW site (which is where I received all of this info) it is due in NY on the 13th. But, according to MINI, it's still at the port. They said that they don't get any info until it actually gets loaded and leaves. When I asked if it could be a delay, he said that it could be loaded, but it must still be there, because itcouldn't have left without them being updated. But the Don Juan is crossing the ocean as I write this. So, what do you all think? The WW site has said it's on the Don Juan for the last 2 days now - could MINI just be in a delay mode. Or is this what happens when it's bumped - where did everyone get there info regarding the Don Juan - Mini, or the WW site?

 

i think the shipping company HAS to be up to date. that is their business. shipping is not mini's, it is just a fun thing to see. so i don't think MINI's site is as up to date as the WW's.

 

I'd trust WW, due to the fact that if you look at the 'Where's my baby' tracking info, they seem to have a status for 'going on the boat', and 'off the boat', if you read the descriptions. So if your WW status is actually 'loaded', i'd trust them...

Do trust the WW site. As of yesterday the MINIUSA says my MINI won't
be in until the 10th of August. Last night the WW site says my MINI was discharged from vessel on Sunday the 4th of August. So unless they off loaded my car in the ocean it must be on the dock waiting to go to the distribution center.
