MINI Christmas Tree

So this is the first year we've had our own Christmas tree.
I had no ornaments, so I took my hotwheel MINIs
that I display at work (next to my Italian Job poster)
I tied some red white and blue (for the union jack of course)
ribbon through their windows and hung them on the tree.

And yes, I let Gloves put a couple mustangs on there...
it's Christmas after all..
Now I'm gonna have to buy a couple more to fill up
some gaps that I'm finding in the tree

Very cute idea, UKDragon! For Christmas 2003, my dealership, Long Beach MINI in SoCal, decorated a tree using MINI-themed playing cards. It was very festive.

Let's see some pictures. I have wanted to do that too but don't have any hotwheels cars. Only larger remote controlled MINI's. I'll have to see if I can find someplace that sells the Hotwheels MINI's.

I put a link to the pictures in my first post.

I found the hotwheel MINIS (and imitation hotwheels) at
Toys r us. I was lucky enough to find two 2-packs one time
with different MINIs. Of course, now with the holidays it's
gonna be slim pickings...
I have a few other MINIs of hotwheel size, but they didn't have
the open windows that hotwheels do, so there wasn't anywhere
to tie the ribbons through.. (those I left here at work)

I like it - toys ON the tree, not just under it.
