The company apparently specializes in turbine engine conversions for boats (really FAST boats) and motorbikes (REALLY fast motorbikes). With the boot closed, you wouldn't notice anything about this MINI except that it had no rear wiper. Which is far from unique. The 2 big pipes going up are the exhaust which lead to smallish holes just in front of the spoiler. And the exhaust holes have a little cover that stays closed when the turbine isn't running! Barely noticible from 5 feet. There is a fairly thick lexan (I assume) plate behind the front seats to keep the noise at a "normal" level. I asked a few questions and got some very solid, sensible, well-engineered answers. Oh yeah, apparently, it's around $100k. Maybe you have to buy a donor helicopter to get the engine?
