Newbie

I just picked up my 06 Dark Silver Mini S yesterday. I love the car. It's raining in Cali,so the car is dirty now.

I noticed rust on the weld joints on both front seats. Should I be concerned?

Congrats on the new MINI - you are going to love it! Rust , already? I'm not sure where you are talking about, but it doesn't sound right to me. Maybe post a pic....

For a brand-new MINI, you should definitely report this to your MA at the dearership, and demand that it be fixed! There's no excuse for any rust on a brand-new car!

It's awesome! There's something about the MINI and the DS color. Great color choice.

Oh yeah, after seeing the piece that is rusty, you gotta inquire about this with your MA. You will see that every time you get into your car, and it'll annoy you each time.

Don't take no for an answer... get that whole seat replaced, if necessary, for FREE!

I have to agree with everyone else on this one and give the MA a shout... I would also want to know why this wasn't discovered when the dealer went over the car when it arrived from the docks...
