So I'm at a news stand yesterday reading the last copy of the English magazine "Car," and right in the middle of an article comparing aftermarket hp upgrades for the MCS, the author comes out with, apropos of nothing, "MINI owners are notoriously selfish and greedy." Do you believe that? I was so upset I read the whole magaizine without buying it while 18 other people stood in line waiting to look at it. :smile:

Seriously, what's up with that? Is this some common knowledge about MINI owners that I haven't been let in on?

Gee what is exactly wrong with selfish and greedy. I think that people can determine best what they want and need, and I selfishly try to satisfy my greedy needs. I think that is human nature. By definition if we wanted just transportation we could all buy Kia. I don't think we would be satisfied if we did that. We have a higher level of desire for this car, and that is good.
