So ... I'm an 18 year old guy. My first car is the MINI. I love it. I love this place too. The other day, I was driving down a forest area and I saw this PW/B with black bonnet strips turning into a neighborhood coming in from the opposite direction. It turned right (my left) so I got a good look at the driver. A VERY cute asian girl. I waved like mad in my usual MINI wave style but she didn't see. (it's funny cuz even though I'm asian, i like ethnic girls more... like latinos or something like that). Is my mind/eyes just making me see what i want because she was driving a MINI ?????

Now that I think about it, that would be great ice breaker or date topic. Mini cooper lovers. Oh and I hope my girlfriend never finds this site because then she will find out about my other love... My MINI!

I don't know if it's more attractive as it is more approachable. You also know a piece of their personality before you even talk to them. They have to be FUN!! If I ever see a boring or dull person in a MINI, I think I would have to break down and cry for the shame of it.

Your story hit home, 'cuz where I used to park there was always a really cute Asian girl in an IB Cooper. Now I'm married, so I wasn't looking for anything to happen, but I did enjoy parking next to her-it was sorta....naughty. I just KNOW our MINIs were up to hanky panky when we left.

 

When I met my wife, and compared notes, I became enamoured because we had so much in common. When she said she enjoyed autocrossing, I fell in love. It was not surprising we both wanted a Mini.

 

my wife gets hit on all the time by Washington Redskins in her MCS Cabrio. She works near their training facility and they roll up next to her at stoplights in Escalades with 26's and Bentley Coupes. Pretty funny if you ask me.

 

Yes random girls driving hot mini's seem more attractive. But as people said it's more of an attraction then an actual emphatuation. It doens't necessarily mean they can't be converted.

When I met my wife a few years back, she wasn't exactly a car nut. I mean she enjoyed a nice ride as much as anyone but she was more into cars for the luxery aspect. So we picked up a gently used slk-230 from my rents after they were done with it.

She had and still does have fun with it, I think she get's a kick out of the supercharger more then anything. Her favorite saying is, "You can't spell supercharger with out SUPER." Since those days I have shelled out some cash to send her to race driving school. Well worth every penny. She left there wanting autoX tires and a 5 point harness for xmass instead of jewlery. Now the girl is totally hooked on F-1 racing and knows more about the sport then I would ever care to know.

Just goes to show there is hope for us car nuts :P
