I have searched the forums for info like this but ended up with 1000+ threads. I am trying to find the deatails on the Packages for an 03 MCS. What was included in the Sport Package, Cold Weather Package, and Premium Package. I am sure there would be an easy way to find this info but I thought I would just ask here. Thanks.

 

I'm going off memory here, but I think the packages include the following:

Cold: Heated seats, mirrors and washer fluid
Sport: Dynamic stability control, foglights, bonnet stripes (sometimes). Maybe Xenons, but I'm not sure about that on an '03
Premium: sunroof, onboard computer, multifunction steering wheel with audio controls, cruise control and auto AC.

I'm sure if I've forgotten something others will chime in.

 

The packages really haven't changed much since '03. Just go to MINIUSA and build your own. It will tell you what each of the packages have.

Out of curiosity, what is the nature of the question?

 

he is probably looking used, and wants to know what it means when the sticker reads "Premium Package" or "Sport Package"

 

Thanks for the answers guys and yes I am looking at a used 03 from a non Mini Dealer and they would not know the answers to the question. I was mainly wanting to find out if it had the Xenons. I messaged MiniUSA for an option list but it did not break down the packages just that it had those 3.

 

what color is it? how many miles? asking price? details...

 

35K PS/B 20K I will be trading in my current car 97 Black Prelude with 113K hopefully I can get it for about 15,500 after trade but I don't know. The only thing that worries me is the 35K I think I am going to get a Carfax account so that I can look at the history it is 230 miles from me so if I go to look at it I want to know what to expect.

that is one stacked MCS! 35k for it seems alittle steep at first, but i bought my 03' MC with about half of what that has, and with 50k miles for 18k on august 19th.

 

If you've got a MINI dealer near you, you may be able to sweet talk them into providing you a service record for the vehicle. I found it nice to have one when buying used (got mine used from a MINI dealer.)

FYI, the '03 Xenons are easy to identify visually - in the headlight housing there is a small circle with 'Xenon' printed in it. Sounds like you got your info though.

35K Mileage Asking 20K

 

Sounds like your in Canada with some of those items.

Like the Smoker's package and interior lamp package. Unless the dealer is just playing up small things in the car like a ash tray and a dome light.

 

That is the exact list that was sent to me from Melissa DiMaria at askMINIUSA.com, I live on NC Coast. I thought the Smokers package and Interier light package was strage as well.

 

then in that case u got a good car right there, just make sure the car fax checks out and drive it home, the long way
