Was it just me??? I got nada for a secret message in the Mini ad.

Or was the MC2 (Dragon Issue) Mini decoder ad messed up? I carried my ad (for idiot verification ) to a very reliable friend & they couldn't decode it either.

Either my decoder is messed up or the print in that issue is messed up. Anybody else have this problem?

I noticed that I had to flatten the decoder just right to get it to work. Good luck!

 

We have tried everything we can think of with the decoder & we get nothing We wiggled it, held it sideways, upside down, right side up. We looked at it with one eye closed with one eye squinted. Nothing works. The MC2 ad we have has no secret message in it

 

had to really press it tight to the page but it said......oops, sorry, it said something.

 

I was with bamatt last night when she brought her ad and decoder. Since I had been able to use mine, I was supposed to show her how it worked.

Her's did NOT work! Either the printing of the ad was off-set or her decoder thingy is not right.

 

Mine worked fine in Sports Illustrated.

 

Either bamatt's decoder has a faulty self destructor or she could even be an alien or an imposter of some sort

are all the decoder ads in the magazines the same? like is a maxim one different from sports illustrated?

 

YOU ARE NOT ALONE! I have the same problem with the Blender ad. I stuck that decoder flat against the page, moved it around, flattened it more, turned it, over and over and over and over and I never got it. I'm glad to hear it's not just me!
