I dropped by Brecht in Escondido this morning. They had just taken delivery of a load of MINIs. They had about 40 cars the salesman told me. Ron.
The salesman also said that they had MCS''s at up to $27,000/00 plus tax and license! Just to give you an idea or comparison.
I was on their list since last year, I was called yesterday, I told them I'd had a car since April from Crevier of Santa Ana.

How many are unaccounted for, and will be sold at MSRP?

Any word on their prices? Aren't they (in)famous for adding big dealer premiums and gewgaws galore?

Cheers!

when I saw their mark-ups and lack of contact with "listees" I said no way! Brecht is not selling anything at MSRP didn't you hear? They have a brand new building to pay for! At least that is what at least two of us who went by to check on status were told about pricing.

Yes, TMGRobyn, I did hear. I was hoping that someone from Brecht's neighborhood (Escondido) would give us some specific prices, for our mutual disgust and enjoyment!

Anyone know some of their more outrageous sticker prices?

Cheers!

Whiskey Tango Foxtrot! How come they get a make-up shipment like that, and Long Beach and others are wishing for more, and can't seem to get 'em fast enough??? Hmmmm. Brecht's cars from B4 their opening must have been a boon to everyone else, so now Brecht has a chance to make up lost ground. 'Course they'll probably jack up the numbers unmercifully. But if you REALLY GOTTA HAVE a MINI, there they are. If only they were as pleasant and fair as their Service Dept. We'll see how it goes, I guess.

WOW! That's gougery at its "finest!" What are they asking for regular Coopers? No wonder they have a full lot! HIGHWAY robbery, splutter, splutter... Thanks for the info. I'm quite happy, now, to wait for my spec from Long Beach!

Cheeers!
