Pacific Northwest Road Trip 9/15/06 - 9/30/06
I am doing a west coast roadtrip in September for my 40th birthday. I am starting in Los Angeles then heading to San Francisco for a few days. I am then heading up to Ashland then along the Oregon Coast into Portland. From that point, I am heading into Seattle then to Snohomish Washington where I will celebrate my birthday on the 24th at the Snohomish Classic Car Show. This is my favorite car show in one of my favorite places in the world. Over 600 classic cars line the downtown streets, which are closed for this one! I am going to visit relatives in Snohomish and Arlington for a few days then head to Kenewick Washington to visit my mom on the 25th and 26th. I'm then going to head to Nevada City to see my sister and her family then back to Petaluma to see my ex girlfriend the weekend of the 30th. I hope to see some of you along the way!
Hi Rick,
We live in Everett WA - have Parents in Richland WA. We can probably arrange a get together with some of the Puget Sound MINI Motoring Club Members while you are here - Pancakex is one of us. We have a drive to and around Mt. Baker planned with a Canadian MINI club on September 17 if you are here then.

Cool! I hope I can meet up with some of you guys!
I am not sure the exact dates except for the September 24th show.
I am looking forward to this. I watched World's Fastest Indian last night for inspiration. Not that I am doing anything as groundbreaking as Burt Munroe but I've been working since I was 10 and have lived on my own since I was 14. Needless to say, there has not been a lot of opportunity to take vacations! I have fantasized about doing a trip like this for years.
