I got front and rear carpet mats

I recieved a $50 gift certificate for any accessory. valid for 1 year (which was used on some new exhaust tips :D

Yesterday, i recieved a bloack welcome box full of more mini useless but cute swag. I believe it is dependant on the dealership

 

I've received 3 black boxes so far and my wife got a cool Mini dog that now faithfully rides in the back seat.

 

Guess what was waiting for me when I got home yesterday. No more whining about what I haven't received.

 

Well well...if I'd waited one day I wouldn't have sullied myself!

I got tinted windows with bubbles...

A clear bra with a botched corner...

An Aero kit with a botched paint job...

An financing application collecting dust for a few weeks instead of being processed, which caused my (pick-up)delivery to take two days...

A dealership plate that was not fully painted, yay, I got one from their reject bin ...

An overcharge on my GAP insurance...

A yellow stain in my boot paint from the washer fluid...

Oh yeah, and my e-mails completely ignored...

After you call MINIUSA three times you might get three welcome packages.

After that you get a minimum of three free rides or tows directly to the closest dealer to fix whatever part is the latest to break.

You get the aggravation, if your really lucky, of going into "limp mode"

My favorite is you get silly lights coming up on the dash that just come on, and go off for no valid reason I can see.

Oh, here is a good one. You may be really lucky and get one HIgh beam pointed at the sky and one pointed directly down into the road. That was a fun find.

You may also get various plastic parts that fall off in your hand and you get to go to the dealer to have them replaced before the warranty runs out.

You may get to argue with the MA about why you can't get a free battery after it dies prematurely. After all, everyone drives 12000 miles a year and if you don't, NO FREE battery for you!

OH ... and here is a really good one. In a very short time you get to see if there is any rust under your door sills. Think of it as a "surprise"!

oh, and my alltime favorite ... if your REALLY lucky and can afford to get the JCW suspension with the factory warrantee, you can find out that can't get the car alighned because of the front camber and be told you have to go buy camber plates on your nichel. That was really fun.

However, You can when all is well ... or at least until the OEM RFs wear out and you got to buy new tires.

Don't get the modding bug ... THEN the bills start coming in

 

Just picked up mine today, and SO FAR I got a rubbery key ring to hold that rather massive key....

But I've heard that if you sleep with the MINI key under your pillow, in the morning when you wake up a BIG brown truck comes up your street and delivers a gigantic box full of t-shirts, hats, clothes, mats, whatever you've been dying to get but were too broke, it spills all over your living room floor and you just can't keep up with all the cool
