R50/53 Military Mini drivers?

So how many GI's out there with or getting a Mini? Active, Retired, or just out.
What do you guy's think of this fun lil-Tank? It may not be now, but it's close to bullet Proof. I think an A-10 would need a bit of time to hit this curve wonder.
USAF
ALL: Please note that I'm not asking to talk about the current conflict, I'm just bringing together the service community within the MCO community. Service time is fine, we're all proud of serving, but someone has taken offense to my topic at this time. Also as this is an international site, watch what info you place on it. thanx.

US Navy, Gunner's Mate (worked with ship-board weapons systems), 1988-1992. Served in Desert Storm. A couple of my craziest memories are seeing the oil fires from the Persian Gulf, and the swarms of flies blown out to sea by desert winds from all the dead bodies on shore. Don't let anyone, including Bush fool you. WAR IS HELL!

sndwave: I understand and respect what you're feeling, having said that I am in no way trying to disrespect nor downplay the current events. My question was and is only to bring yet one more commonality "if you will" between people that already have something in common. This is not a recon mission. I'm not asking for personal inf. The site is also used as a venue for people to take a break from everyday stress and talk about something that calms/pleases/relaxes them just by talking about a little car. The current events are blasted (no pun) in our faces by the Media all/everyday. There's no escaping what is going on, unless you find your little niche on MCO. That is until someones oppinion spoils it. I too still serve after 21yrs. Believe me , I know what your feeling and this is in my oppinion the right time to bring together Service Brothers On MCO taking a break.
Please take no offense, I didn't. It's not always negative when someone speaks there mind.

US Army Retired (1994) CW4
Still active in Public Service and support
If the rules are the same this time, the troops will need our support. Care packages will be greatly appreciated. Just remember to wash out the shampoo bottles a couple times before filling with Kentucky's finest
Still can't drink bourbon without tasting soap, blah

8 years active and still going... 4 years in the Marines, and I'm just passing 4 in the Navy. I still have 4 to go before I reenter "Civ Div!"
BTW, I don't think there is ever a bad time to talk about military service, although I don't think that was the gist of the post. I'm proud to serve my country, and I thank all those out there who support us!
