R50/53 Military Mini drivers?
Thank you all for your service to our country.
I have a son currently serving in the U.S. Navy and stationed in Ingleside, Texas. Soon, he will be deployed to Bahrain in the Persian Gulf. When he gets back, I will be giving him lots of seat time in MR ECON. Maybe I'll convert him from a Ford man to a Mini man.

HOOAH! Army guy here in DC area
Hi All,
22 Years of Army, some active, some reserve, currently Active Reservist (AGR) in DC area.
I bought my 03 MCS through Pentagon Auto Sales in Heidelberg, Germany. I too had a bit of a hassle getting it registered for US Warranty even though it was produced US spec.

MCS' are awesome vehicles!

Retired after 20 years service in the US Navy (Finally had to get a REAL job)
I Enjoyed my time in the service, instructor duty was extremely satisfying (the proverbial light coming on). Even to this day I have a young(?) kid running into me and saying that I was his instructor during "A" school and then they thank me for teaching them the "actual theory" that keeps them ahead of their peers in the advancement process. Analogies work wonders on the mental process, wish more teachers/ instructors would use them
Cheers!

10.5 years in the USAF. I'm an F-16 pilot, stationed on exchange to the middle east, enjoying the flying, and missing my MCS JCW back home (among other things like my family). Can't wait to get back home in 11 months.

There was a time when I thought all that work-life stuff they pushed on us was a lot of hokey touchy feelie mumbo jumbo too... Then I got married, and it all started to make sense... It's pretty cool to know that there's somebody waiting for you, somebody to come back to, somebody who's supporting you when you're out there on TDY...
BTW, you do realize that you were responding to a post that was made more than 2 and a half years ago don't you?
US Army
Isn't it great that good things never go away! (even 2 1/2 years since the post began) The military has become more family orientated in the past few years. My family loves it, with the traveling and living in different countries / continents. Even while I am not with my family my children have the opportunity to see the world that the majority of other kids will never will. I just hit 13 years with 7 years to go. Been to the desert, Europe, Hawaii, and several states that I now know I will never live in, by choice, again! The experiences we have enjoyed would not have been possible if it was not for the military.
GOD BLESS AMERICA, and ALL OF THOSE THAT SERVE FOR HER FREEDOM
Still enjoying my '05 MCS...dark silver and black

USAF 23yrs and going (Langley Stealth Tech)
Anyone currently serving USAF with a Mini needs to put in for Southern Cali.
That part of the country is VERY Mini friendly, just ask any Cali Mini group.
I love the Dragon on the east side, but Cali has several of those routes, as well as several Military mini owners. (Not belittling any other State)

What do you guy's think of this fun lil-Tank? It may not be now, but it's close to bullet Proof. I think an A-10 would need a bit of time to hit this curve wonder.

ALL: Please note that I'm not asking to talk about the current conflict, I'm just bringing together the service community within the MCO community. Service time is fine, we're all proud of serving, but someone has taken offense to my topic at this time. Also as this is an international site, watch what info you place on it. thanx.
