What do you guy's think of this fun lil-Tank? It may not be now, but it's close to bullet Proof. I think an A-10 would need a bit of time to hit this curve wonder.

ALL: Please note that I'm not asking to talk about the current conflict, I'm just bringing together the service community within the MCO community. Service time is fine, we're all proud of serving, but someone has taken offense to my topic at this time. Also as this is an international site, watch what info you place on it. thanx.

Minian(^-^) Drk Slvr S/Sprt pkg/HK Sound(May Club)
Retired Army: SGM with 27 years active duty service.
This will be my first MCS(JCW) ! I'm really looking forward to getting behind the wheel and crusing the Autobahans here in Germany.

US Army--1966-1987. Retired LTC. Those serving on active duty: THANKS. Serve with pride. I Salute YOU!

I would like to see the Draft reinstated with a few changes: We would draft folks over 60, and start with those that didn't serve during Viet Nam. An added benefit, might cut down on some Social Security pay outs.

LOL, the thought of seeing a 60 year old and a Drill Sergeant yelling "come here private" would be rather humorous.

Wow. there seems to be a fair number of vets on here. I am a little surprised that there are so many career soldiers though. Thanks so much for serving.

As for me, I never served, but my husband did. Five years, 94-99, as an enlisted Marine. He hated the corps at the time, but now I think he's proud of his service. He should be.

Retired USAF MSgt - 20 yrs, doing the defense contractor thing now, too.
Loved every minute I spend on active duty - unfortunately, never had a MINI for any of my 3 tours in Germany - had to settle for BMWs.
Hoo-ah, Sepmer Fi, Anchors Aweigh, and all that jazz. A big salute to everyone in every branch who is serving or has served.

of the troops ,for the troops.....MP

Army Military Police 95b E-5

I have a different breakdown for service time...
6 1/2 years reserve
2 1/2 years active duty in response to 9-11 (14 months ,thanks to stop loss)
1 year IRR inactive ready reserve in response to stop-loss
Most of my time served out at FT DIX.....I can hear the yuck sound from people who know the place....

all in all some of the best years of my life!

When I got my MINI as my welcome home gift to myself I was still on active duty. I would say the best (army)MINI momment was by my Major 0-4 (close friend) who said " I ain't getting in that thing" followed by a half hour ride and the words" that was fun".

safe ride brothers......may you all come home safe
