Hi MCsurfer, and welcome to MCO!
It's not too hard to do a nice signature:
in MCO, go to My Account, and then to Personal Information.
Down the page you will find the field Signature (optional)
here you can enter text that you would like to appear in the signature,
or html code.
To have an image appear in your signature, use the following code:
(IMG) URL of image (/IMG)
in the above line, replace the round brackets with square brackets before and after the IMG tag, and for the URL enter the complete URL of an image you would like to use. This URL ne4eds to be on a site / server accessible to the general public.
For example, mine is:
http://www.tamug.edu/labb/LABBpeople...SC_0007-s3.jpg
in the above line I have removed http:// before the line.
jpg images or gif images work best, try to keep the size down.
You can use an existing image and scale it down (that's what I did in my sig below, a cropped and scaled down pic), or design something in a graphics software and save it as a jpg or gif. You can use Photoshop, Illustrator, or similar packages.
Cheers,
Markus

MCSurfer, if you'd like, I'll work one up for you.

I love yours, it looks really nice, and it tells stuff about your car. Good choice on the colors, and style.

I posted a thread about doin sigs before. Anytime now someone will post something about making the pic small in size, yadda yadda yadda. I MIGHT do SOME for SOME people. Send me a PM and I MIGHT think about it.

CooperSpeed, you do great work. Cooperation also does amazing stuff. As one who is Photoshop challenged (don't even have the program!) and has little or no experience w/ graphics, I'm jealous to see how cool some of the sig lines are. Think I'll just go for a ride in my black toothed MC
Yes, I too also wondered where those Mini illustrations came from. Seen them on Mini2 and here.... is there a stock file or something? I have a plate of 9 illustrations, rear 3/4 views....
Oh yea... I like mine too.

Ok, all this sig talk made me wanna start changing mine.
There are some cool sigs out there, including neat drawings and graphic art!
I'm still a little partial to just plain photography (that's also where my expertise is rather than in graphics art), so here are my old and new sig pics. I like the idea of changing them periodically for a fresh new look!

If you don't have Photoshop, you can check out the GIMP. It's an open source graphic design software that's been ported to Win32 from Linux. It's what I like to use anyway. It's a couple of steps behind the latest Photoshop in terms of features, but it works for me.
I know this one is pretty low-skill, but it took less than a minute.
