Attention to your Car

This past weekend I was listening to Car Talk and this lady called in to complain that her husband was apying to much attention to his new convertible. She mentioned one occurance that he cleaned bird poop off the windsheild as he was driving. I thought thats cool he miust be driving either a MC/MCS cabrio or a BMW. Well he had a Z3. I understand his compulsion.

Of all the ignorant things to do, That's just unsafe. Only takes a minute to pull over and break out the "shine up" (insert your favorite brand) and do it right. Hey you may even find another area on the car that needs attention. And people wonder why I'm always late.

Don't know about the birds**t off the windshield (especially while driving).... But as far as birds**t on the paint, I carry a spray bottle in the car to blast off any that hits the paint. That stuff is lethal to any dark colored paint job.

Ha! I was listening to this as well. I don't believe the guy tried getting a dent out of his car with ... a rolling pin.

The sprayer is pretty powerful; there really isn't much need to scrape off the birds**t if you get it before it gets caked onto the paint.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!! Wow, I wish I would have been listening!

Anyway, I wiped off two globs of bird poop today! I feel like people must be looking at me a little funny, but I don't care.
