I love my new 2006 MINI Cooper and so far have had no problems. I love to take it out for a spin on warm summer evenings - between 7 and 9pm. I'm planning to drive it to the Cape in late August!
Hey Annette,
Was at Babies r us wednesday checking out car seats (getting ideas what would fit a mini) and there was a PW/B MCS and Checkered rear view mirrors. Of course we we/I check out all the minis I see. Funny thing was, the front plate El Kabong seemed really familiar to me. Then I realised it was from NAM. too funny, small world. cheers! ~future mini owner in Roswell

got the graco ultralite system here. The base has no problems securing to the anchors. the front seat has to be all the way forward, then you can get the carrier in and out. Takes some finessing, but go slow and you can do it. Once the carrier is in place, the front seat won't be able to go all the way back. It's about a third way in from full forward. That's okay with me, as I'm usually taking my wee one to daycare and no one is in the front passenger seat, which the carrier is behind.
back on topic... I love driving the MINI and look forward to every opportunity. "What? We need milk? Be back in an hour..."

Heyduard,
Got the Brittax marathon right now. Doesn't work in the MCSC, but in the MCS. Was looking for the next stage up, booster with a harness (Apex? looked pretty big). My guy is 3, high 30"s in pounds. The Brittax leaves is feet sticking out some as it is a bucket, but does go up to 65 pounds. Looking at boosters with a more level bottom, and harness. Just checking around seeing whats on the market. Have read some stuff here in the forums. Can't wait to switch to a mini, over my SUV with no turn ratio!!!
thanks!

thanks! As far as booster seats go, when she's older, I was thinking about the simpson (looks like a rebaged model) or the recaro (al frame!!!!).
This way she can enjoy the MINI, too. (There, we're back on topic
) And she'll have a better seat than Daddy! Until he gets recaro's.good luck on getting the MINI.
