I recently got my mini and realized that I was flashing my high beams at people by mistake when I went to put my turn signal on. I have since gotten used to it, anyone else ever have this problem?

No not really. Signal is up and down and the high beams are back and forth....

I like the motoring one day at a time signature. Thats very cute.

 

I've done that before.

 

Guilty...LOL! I did it more often back in 2002, and there were others who also confessed to it! The turn signal stalk required a lighter touch than my previous vehicle, an old Isuzu Trooper!

 

i had a Saturn SL1 '96. It just seems more touchy to me. Whenever i let someone else take the mini for a drive, they seem to do it too, hehe.

 

Don'T be sorry... It's just another way to say "hello" to a MINI!

 

I don't think I've flashed any one...er....um...well...not with my Cooper

 

yea i've done that one before, i've done it about 3 times since i've had my mini hehe.

 

I have done it also.....but with my shirt on.

 

I seem to be a flasher on a fairly regular basis. If the turn signal lever was a bit longer I doubt it would happen at all.

The highbeams took me awhile to get used to, but for a different reason. I've been used to cars where when you pull back on the high-beams you 'flash' and then when you release you're back to low-beams. In the MINI, if you pull back the stalk you are now have your brights on.
