Hello. First off, the reason I am posting this in MINI Talk and not the Regional Forum is because I know every doesn't read them, thus we might not get as many people.

Anyway, this is a feeler thread. I have sent out a PM to all of those around the Cincinnati area that I know are on the boards. If you don't know, we have monthly meets at Quaker State and Lube resturant in Milford the first Monday of every month. Please check out www.cinciminis.com for upcoming event's and event details hosted by Beth.

The event's would be hosted by me, or anyone else that is willing/interested in doing so. I need help thinking of times, locations, lists of people, etc. One problem is that the meets would have to be on Sunday's for me to attend, and most likly earlier in the morning (but not too early).

I would love to make this happen, and even more so if we could get enough people to get this G2G going every other Sunday if possible.

I will be keeping an updated list of the people around the Cinci/lower OHIO region that would be willing to attend. You can either post in this thread or PM me.

What kind of drives and how long were you thinking of.

 

No idea really. Depends what everyone wants to do, and how many people would come. Sunday's I have to work at night, usually at 4pm or 5pm, so I would be able to get up earlier and go for a nice long drive!

We need everyone to post here and figure things out, and come up with some idea's!

Cinci is like 2 hours form me so a Monday is sort of out for me, but we have something like this at the Quaker Steak and Lube in Polaris in the Columbus, Ohio area on July 10 (NEXT Monday).

We'd be up for something on a weekend, though. We have friends in Cinci that we don't really need an excuse to go see them, but we'd always love to go driving with other Mini folk.

We'll also be headed down thattaway on the for the Cincinnatti Mini Fun Run on the 29th- see this site, "Upcoming Events" for details. This looks really fun.

Sweet, I know I will defenitly be at the Rally! I've been planning that for months! I'll add you to the list.

And just to let you know, we also have monthly meets at Quaker State. But once a month is NOT enough in my books!

I'll also see if some Focus people want to meet up with us, seeing as I'm a member of www.focaljet.com.

We need one large all Ohio G2G in Columbus some day.

If its in columbus, its nice and central so everyone is traveling about the same distance.

Cinci is about a 5 1/2 Hour drive for me, so anything south of Columbus wouldnt really be an option for me.

 

We could do that to...but as for now I'm talking local so we could meet up like every other Sunday or something.

Thanks for keeping at this Cody. I just set up a Yahoo Mailing list up for the group. Get on out & join up! These lists help groups communicate better via email so that you don't have to keep checking a forum for events. Any one person can email the whole group & you can reply to a topic via email without going out to Yahoo.

Going well. Just turned 30K on the Mini (Since May 2005). Biking has been a different story. The bike has spent most of the early summer at Crooked River (still some minor issues to figure out).
Was contemplating getting to Cincy this weekend, but it's not looking good.

 

I'm with Rick, we're up here in the Cleveland area, Cincy is a bit too far for a "day trip". Got a bunch of pals down there though.
