Join up with the Minineo group. We do get some driving in up here too... I think plans were for a group from the North to head down if the planets allign...

 

Is plainesville up north? There's no way I'm going anywhere above 30min from Cinci. I get lost around my house, lol.

Sounds like we really missed out. I heard that the car show was great! My husband and I actually got back in Ohio on Saturday, but we were too late in finding out about it. We went down to the Dragon last week

 

So...are you guys up for the Dyno Day? You don't have to dyno, just come and hang out with all of the other MINI's!

I'll be there with my friend and his Mustang. I can't be the only MINI there...cmon!

That's funny, another Localriders link. No, Cody is not Dave B.'s boy, but their names are very close. Cory is Dave B.'s son. It's funny because 2 Localriders work at Cincinnati MINI/BWW Store. Cory B. & Dave M. (owner of "Pa" the 1 owner '76 Norton Commando 850). So have you met either of these 2 at work Cody?

I just remember Dave saying his son is a Mini tech at the dealer in Cincy.

I think we are interested I have to check the dates with my Husband, but we are really interested! Do you know what times they are running?

 

All day, but I have to work at 4....so I'll probably get there at 9-10am. Depending on how many other people are there......depends if I can get on the dyno or not (takes about 30min to set up each car, then run them).

Doesn't look like we are going to be able to make it. It is the same day as the British Car Day in Dayton 9-4pm. We had registered for it months ago. I was really looking forward to the dyno too!

 

Oh well. Wish you could come but too bad. I guess I will be the only MINI there....

Are you going to the show that's at Eastwood Metro park? I'm going to that one. From what I hear it's a pretty nice show. The date of the show is Saturday the 5th, not the 6th.

Another idea for a G2G is at the Indy British Motor Days show on Sept 24. The Mini & MINI are the honored marks.

There was a Hyper Blue at the ModFest on Saturday with bonnet stripes! I knew you had been thinking about them for your car, wish you could have seen them. They looked great!

I am checking my digital camera right now, I think I might have a picture of it. ImagoX posted some great pics in the Mid-Ohio forum. I looked through them, but I only saw a picture of that car from the back. Let you know what I find!

I love the new sig also, Thanks to COOPERation!!! Very talented!! I have no idea about how to even begin with something like that. Got software to try it, but no luck. Lucky that there are very nice and talented people out there!!!

 

Here is the best one I could find. Wish I would have got one from the front of the car.

 

Be sure and let us know what it puts down. I would of loved to have gone but I'll be getting back from NYC that day so I don't think I'll be up for it. Plus it would be a letdown since last year this time I was dyno'ing my 03 Cobra for 457/486 to the wheels, LOL. But I don't regret selling it and getting the MINI.

I hope to make it up to Cincy for some of the meets as I'm just 2 hours south down into KY.
