Finally got my production #... but it won't let me into the Owner's Loung!
Has anyone else experienced this, or is there some kind of 'turnaround' between when they release the production # and when you can sign in to the owner's lounge??
I must has some sort of MINI sixth sense, since I decided to call today (since it's been about 3 weeks since I placed my order) to see if the dealer had gotten their allocation for August production yet... He said they just got it at 1pm today, and hence gave me my production number...
Please let me know if there is a 'waiting period' or something until you can access the owner's lounge! :impatient
Oh, it says the following when I enter the production #: "Your Production Number does not match our database. Please check the information and submit your request again."

I have heard that they recycle production numbers so that may be the issue. I also seem to remember that my MA asked me to wait a while before it would become active - it might have been a couple days.
You might want to try calling the telephone status line - you read off your production number and they tell you (in automated fashion) what is going on. I can remember doing that three times a day....

Owner's Lounge tab is up on the right hand side of the page. If you are in the US, you can track your MINI through the production cycle. You need your production number to register (or a VIN later on).

I got my prod number the day I ordered (Thursday) due to dealer still having July slots. Car was totally wrong as mentioned for the first 24 hours and now it shows up correctly.

mini-mine... try to get your hands on the actual VIN and try that instead.
I guess there was a brief wait, since it now lets me log in
