PRIOR MINI Stalkers

How many of you used to do cruise past MINI homes drooling over them prior to buying one? Here in Lubbock TX there were only 2 that I know of prior to us getting our 1st EB?B MCS.
The wife and I would drive by at least once a week till ours was ready to go.

I feel kinda stupid now but it happend to me yesterday. This couple has driven past at least once or twice a week and finally said hello it was kinda funny.

I wouldn't count myself as a mini stalker. But there is a house that is on the route I go on for my walks each week. For a few days I was seeing a Red/silver MC in the drive way of one of the houses. Last night, as I passed, a woman was walking down from that house to the street. I asked if they had just bought a MINI. She said no that it belonged to a friend of her son. That friend had left the car there while the two went on vacation together. She said they could have driven the car if they had wanted to but never did. I went on to explain the joys of owning a MINI. She then said she wish she had driven it.

1. Last Saturday I stalked the MINI dealership. (I had to get a quick MINI fix --my car has been on order since the end of May.)
2. On rides home from work, I have been taking a different route so that I can pass a house which has a HO convertible parked in the driveway.
3. I know where the 2 MINIs in my neighborhood live --and my evening walks always seem to go by their houses.
4. I always try to park near the MINI in the garage at my workplace. (Sometimes I sneak a peak inside of it but I have NEVER left a faceprint.)

Do you think I have a problem????

Whenever I see a MINI in a parking lot, I'll easily spend 10 minutes checking it out. Hopefully, when I finally get my own, I'll find better things to do with my time. :P

No, you'll just spend 20 minutes checking out your own car in the parking lot

Wanted a Mini for 4 years and finally took delivery in Feb 06. Had never seen a Mini parked (anywhere) in my small town with 13.000 residents. Two days ago, while going home the "crooked way" my wife noticed a Mini, on a sidestreet, parked in a driveway about 2 miles from the house. I didn't notice it because it was behind another car, and I was concentrating on driving. Anyway, I had to turn around and drive past the driveway very slowly (stalking?) Turns out the plate showed it was from another state.

LOL... there's a Mini dealer like 1.5 miles from my house.... Drove by every day for 3 years, drooling. Then, I saw the orange one and knew my soul was gone.
