R50/53 Is it possible...
Is it possible...
...that my MINI could tell me his name before he's in production???
Winston was my fave...a bit for Mr. Churchill but mostly for Mrs. Doubtfire's "husband".
Anyway, after some advice from some NAM members about adding the Sport Package (which I did...wahoo!), I was thinking...my MINI is going to be so S--S-S-S-WEEEET!
And in that moment the name JAKE popped into my head. So...that's what I think his name is.
It's a story only NAM members and MINI owners could even bear to listen to!

Red Scooter, Jake it is!!! Sounds like a perfect name and original to boot!
pearface, the name will come to you. Maybe you could put your specs in your sig. If you really get stuck, you could ask for some help, but it seems like even those who asked for help in naming their MINI (me included) ended up with the name just coming to them, this thread being a perfect example!

Ooops! Almost forgot!
THANKS for the thumbs up, affirmation and all for JAKE. I really feel that this is his name. Now, when I see him...well, I think it will just fit but I have heard the stories of things changing at delivery.
Krikey...never knew I was going to be having a baby, naming and all!

Hmmm...never heard about the MC/MCS gender thing. For now "he" is Jake. I may change my mind when "it" is delivered though.
Winston is DEFINITELY a GREAT name for a MINI. It seems to be VERY popular.
I pulled this from a "names" posting...kind of interesting...

BoCRon is right. I have been thinking about names I like...British names, names from the NAM famlily...reading stuff about it "popping" in my head...blah, blah, blah...
BUT, it WILL come to you. I think when you relax your mind and take the pressure off yourself about the BIRTH CERTIFICATE...you'll be fine.

I don't know.
I was hoping pearface would tell me. That's how I heard about it.
