My 1 month old MINI Cooper got keyed

My 1 month old chili red mini cooper s and my bf's mitzubishi lancer evolution got keyed over the weekend when we parked my car in my condo community for less than 4 hours. That stupid idiot keyed both of my door, my left side rear fender , right front fender and right side of the hood... does any one have any recommandation on any body shop in s.cal? or should i bring it back to the dealership?

After one month plus two weeks I got keyed in the school lot after only an hour of being there just behind the gas cap all the way to the head light I didn't want o jack up my ins. rates so I got some touch up paint and a wet sanding kit, had it almost as good as new (couldn't tell even up close across much of the car) then 2 months ago I brought it in for the second service, forgot to request no wash and their machine wash brought back all the damage as it washed off the touch up paint, so I'll be at it again soon. If the area was flat, its an act of faith but not too hard to get the smaller stuff taken care of, otherwise find a good body shop, most dealers can reccomend someone good and at a reasonable cost to, if they refer you to how they use.

Sorry to hear about it. I had my last car keyed a few months ago. Very deep scratches, right to the metal. Two doors, and it cost $900 to get it fixed. I ran it through insurance since I've got a clean record and hopefully was a rare event.

Some people get a rise out of destroying things... because they can. Complete and total waste of carbon.

I had my landrover keyed not too long ago. Its was on the passenger side from the back door, then to the gas cap. For some reason, they did it twice over the gas cap.

Its just amazing how childish some people are.

No. They did not leave me a note!

But a little white compound on the plastic lens and hatch minimized it quite a bit. I would have to point it out.

regards,
Red

Is there a chance that you parked too close to someone and they keyed your car because they were angry?

I remember when I was in college I used to park my car far away from everyone (like I park my mini now) and it STILL got keyed. Some people just deserve to be shot or something.
