OH BOY! That's the one Hoovie found in bad shape and cheap. I haven't seen the whole video series yet but in the first episode it needed A LOT of work. I'm sure it'll end up close to the $10k range. Partly because it's an MC40 and partly because it's now internet famous.
It's a real MC40 but at some point the plaque was lost. Can anyone figure out what MC40 of 1000 this is? I didn't know we could find this after the fact. I never tried myself though.
Unfortunately there is no way to determine the # of 1,000 because the VIN is not associated with the MC40 package. The ONLY hope would be to discover the selling dealer who MIGHT still have records. And +1 on Cincy jro ... this was a heap when Hoovie found it -- lots of issues. Here's the episode from YouTube:
lol, umm there's some text missing. Did not know about the drama. Value is relative to what any ONE person will pay. I was interested in info on all three pictures. I've seen the plaque, but not the other stuff. Are all three reproduction? if you want to PM me that's fine as well.
Thanks for sharing

I shared what I was comfortable sharing. Due to previous treatment, it will have to be good enough. . Maybe at some point, I will go into more detail. But I have master plates and I will leave it at that. I was lucky in the sense I was put in contact with my original salesperson at my car's original point of sale. It now resides in WI. It came from Seattle. If you saw my message before it was edited then you likely saw what my car is what it currently does and what it will be doing. I still reign supreme on the highest HP mc40. I left NAM before of my own volition. I don't need to explain to most how this community rolls. While it might look all LXM on the surface once you get to where I am at with what I do it's nothing but scum and villainy. Mos Eisley of the car world if you will.
I know there are not many of us out there in the NAM world, but that does not mean the few that are here can't represent for the other 990 or so that are not active on NAM!
Here is the Badge!!!!!!!!
I would say feel free the change the color....but why we are all the same!

F.Y.I. You can purchase the MC40 decals and door number plates at Firestorm Graphics up in NH. Check out their website. And, maybe get rid of that side graphic while you're at it.

Welcome aboard! Whereabouts in the northeast? There are a few of us with MC40s that I know of up here - a couple in NH and I'm on southern, ME.
Thought this might be of interest particularly to new MC40 owners. It's an old web site (that is no longer active) of MC40 registrations. Check out the "Where are they?" tab. It also has some MC40 history that's interesting.https://web.archive.org/web/20160312065958/http://mc40.com/
My 2004 MC40 with 41,000 Miles is up for sale on Cars and Bids
Hello NAM Forum!
It's with a heavy heart that I am selling my 2004 Mini Cooper S MC40. It's a wonderful car and I hate to see it go. I would love for it to go to someone that is a true Mini enthusiast. This MC40 was signed by Paddy Hopkirk when he came to Portland in 2019 for the Mini Anniversary. There are photos of it on Cars and Bids. Please go and take a look. https://carsandbids.com/auctions/30A...-cooper-s-mc40
If you have any questions, please let me know.
