His Royal Highness, The Earl Of Grey is here!

I picked up my MINI after MONTHS of waiting, placed the order in November, but it was sooooo worth the wait. Just spent about 2 hours detailing and polishing the outside, and he looks fantastic! He is such a blast to drive, I must say though, that I chicken out long before he does.

Here he is my Royal Grey MINI, His Royal Highness, The Earl of Grey:

Very nice. Great color combinations. I am a huge fan of the silver roof. I ordered one on mine too.

We only have one dealer in Washington, and the allotment sucked. I wasn't supposed to get the MINI till September-ish, but their allotment was bumped up I guess.

Rawk!

You definitely went all out with the option book, and I love what you came up with. Happy Motoring!

Yes it truly is. With all the options you have wouldn't that be like a Park Lane?

Also, I noticed you have the chrome interior, did you add a chrome hand brake or is that how it comes when you order the chrome interior? I'm asking because that's what I have on order. Thanks!

I very much liked the Park Lanes that I saw in photos, so yes, it is somewhat modeled after the Park Lane. The Chrome on the handbrake is OEM. You would not believe all the comments you are going to get with that chrome! I don't think anyone has chrome anymore and it just stands out so much! The best comment that I have gotten at work, was when someone sat in it and said, "WOW! It looks just like a toy!"

These photos were taken with a Canon Digital Rebel XT. The ISO setting on these photos are 200. Generally the exposures are quite long as it was after sunset and I was trying to use what natural light I had to my advantage. You can view full size of these at:

Oh, how I love Flickr!

His Highness looks great...pretty close to what I ordered...and certainly close enough to get me drooling!

What do you think of the driving lights? They are the one dealer option I'm wavering on.

Truthfully, I probbaly will not use them too much. I LOVE the way they look. I know when I am driving through the Vegas desert at night on our road trip I will use them, but other than that, I dont know. I think that they complete the look that I was going for.
