Pepper white omens

So I recently ordered a pepper white Mini, and over the weekend I saw two, with today's being exactly like the one I ordered (same black roof, same wheels, also an S). I think it's a good omen. :

That's a bizarre coincidence! I just read your post, then looked out the window and saw the coolest Pepper around just sitting there outside waiting to be driven.

Oh wait, that's mine!

Good choice!

cydewaze, I don't think you will regret it, pepper white has a classic look

All of the colors are cool... so cool that I had to pick the color by process of elimination... red-but every sports car is red; black-my favorite color for a car, but not mini enough. So with that thought in mind forget about the gray... blah, blah, blah... but once I saw the PW color in person I was convinced. I also thought that she would be somewhat rare.

Well, our first mini event was the St. Louis European car show... Pep'r was one of three PW in a crowd of 24 minis. AND there was another new PW owner who did not bring his car to the show.... hmmm, not so rare afterall. But you know what, each PW had a look of their own... with or without stripes, all white or with a black roof, different wheels, different interior, etc. We saw a post with a pic of 4 PW mini's in the mountains.... it is a great photo... I look forward to getting a bigger crowd of PW's together for a similar photo!

I had never seen a PW except on the dealer lot (not many MINIs around my area), then I got mine and of the 10 MINIs I know of in this area, 6 are PW. And usually when I take a trip 75% of the ones I see are PW. Seems like they flock together.

Yes, I had a round-about way of picking PW as my color as well (as outlined in the Peerage thread). I'm thinking about having my wheels powder coated anthracite. We'll see how that goes. Lots of things to consider.

I have all my Meguiars detailing equipment left over from my last car, so as soon as my Mini comes in, it's going to get its proper "baptism" of claybar and wax.
