wow is right!
makes me wanno go place an order!
However, my biggest peeve right now is that they failed to include an LSD at least as a factory option to the package. That would make a world of difference for AutoX-ing. Now I need to determine whether I want to go for the LSD or the JCW first. I think LSD and some milder mods first.

hey,

i read the review and was impressed w/ the only 4,500 dollar price instead of the 6,000 dollar price i previously thought it would be. the review says performance is great but definately not worth the 4,500 dollars

The JCW Cooper feels only marginally different to the standard Cooper S in urban crawl. Its exhaust note is slightly raspier—a pleasing “bup-bup-bup” on the overrun—and the supercharger’s whine marginally more nasal. The throttle response—already attack-dog keen on the S—is sharper still. Other than that, you’ll wonder if the hole in your account has been worth it.

That is until you get onto empty country roads where this Super Cooper’s case improves dramatically. In the middle of the rev counter, a fat seam of can-do torque makes for serious, any-gear overtaking punch (bringing to mind the ’60s British bumper sticker: “You’ve Been Mini’d!”).
as u can see, it says that on normal driving conditions it is marginally different... i might look into buying the exhaust and pulley though from JCW:D ! but i dont think it is worth it, either does autoweek

I am hoping they will just sell a pulley.

I'm hoping that they will sell the part individually. I've gotten quiet used to the Magnaflow, not sure if I could part with it. I would like to go for the rest of the "works" though. $4500 is more palatable than $6000, perhaps it will cost even less without the exhaust. Time will tell.

If they are smart they will sell some of the parts seperately.

my dad said if they sold the pulley seperately it would cost about 200-400 dollars installation!!!!!! so that would be about 400-600 dollars for the pulley!

if you just buy the pulley, and get much more boost out of the supercharger, will the motor hold up with the "hot cams" and pistons??
