R50/53 The cheap, thin leather on my steering wheel is starting to bubble, crack and flake
This thread has reminded me to go glop on a nice coat of Groit's Leather Care stuff..... smells sooooo good. I normally rub on a nice thick coat of this stuff on a Friday night onto my seats and steering wheel and let it sit and soak in all night until I need to drive it again... usually I don't even need to buff it.
One bad side effect I think I have noticed.... the leather care or something eventually evaporates its solvent component and creates a nice film on the inside of your windows. Maybe it is the Nero on the dash and door panels... hummmm, sounds like a science experiment is in order.
