Hello All,
I am trying to find a picture of the Tartan Red interior with the Piano Black (Seven) dash. Does anyone have that combo that could post a picture? Has anyone seen this combo before? I'm just wondering if the red circle on the dash matches the red in the seats.

...or has anyone seen the combination in person? Any opinions out there? I love the combination idea, but not sure how it will look. (It would be in a DS/B MCS)

Perfect...thanks for the picture post! It is hard to tell from the pic what color the seats are...I thought they were more black on the outside. How do you like the Tartan red seats? Would you order them again? How about the Piano black dash? Would you get that again? Do you like the combo together?

That is actually the red octagon. I had tartan red factory seat covers in my '04 PW as you couldn't get the red interior with the S at that time. The red octagon is just a tish bit darker red.

So yes....I would get the red seats again because I did. The piano black dash looks perfect with that combo. I also added an eight ball shifter from Doug Whalen but I sometimes wonder if I would like a red pool ball instead.

I'll see if I can't do some more interior shots but I am not a particularly talented photographer.

 

LOVE the Red interior. I think it looks great with the piano dash. I'm almost regretting that I didn't get it.. cause it would match that yummy JCW leather dash w/ red stichting soo well.

we have the Tartan in both our MCS's. I didn't think i would get it in mine, but after a few months with it in my wifes car i fell in love with it.

I have seen teh 7 dash - i would be concerened with dust & fingerprints. I have the Park Lane dash (basicly, Royal Grey) and it shows alot more crap than my wife's chili red dash.

im getting my mini some time next week and I have ordered the tartan red seats as well. I took a while comtemplating the anthracite or piano, but after comparing them together, the black is just too dark. If the seat leather was black, then the piano would look good.

 

I think it's a beautiful combo MiniAf...do! (obviously)

I have the Tartan red interior with a silver dash on my pepper white S. If the interior wasn't so grey, I think the combo would be a better match with the black dash and door trim (imo). What I think is very cool about the Mini is that you can order it so many different ways to suit your own taste and make it your own.

 

Any pics out there with Tartan and the red dash?

Do they make the Tartan seat covers for the 06's now? The MINI catalogs only list up to 04....?

 

Officially, MINI does not approve of using front seat covers (either theirs or aftermarket) in 05/06 models. They say it interferes with the new weight sensors that control the force of airbag deployment. Some people have gone ahead and installed seat covers anyway.

 

really... i was hoping to get some covers to keep my spacey gray cloth clean. shucks
