R50/53 OK, are they gone?....
OK, are they gone?....
Those bastards, I would kill to be in the Dragon right now... Damn finals and work... Don't they know some of us are just finishing up the semester right now?!!?!?
Oh well...
Where are those of you who "are not there" going to rip your MINI this weekend?
I'm going to drive some canyons here on the front range, which are probably better then the dragon (less traffic), this weekend to compensate. Maybe after my final tommorow at 9am.
:impatient
Give me the lowdown so I don't feel so bad!

College kids at the Dragon, Check it out.
I'm picking Pearl up from service in the morning (hoping the dealer gives her a regular cleaning so I have an excuse to wax again, afterall it has been two weeks), then I'll probably hit up some local twisties; if anyone knows of an autox in Chicago this weekend let me know I'm craving track time right now.
I got to drive some GA AL TN backroads on my way home from school about a week ago, 1000 apexes and maybe 10 cars in about 6 hours most fun I had since Phil Wicks a month earlier

But be warned this is a highly addictive activity and gets quite costly to keep your vehicle at the minimum 100% techincally prepared. (Lots of tread, brake life, good fluid, fresh oil, clean filters and so on all must be just perfect each time you go out to make sure that everyone can drive home at the end of the day)

Also NASA has very strict passing rules in the lower # groups so there is very little of any cars showing up where you don't expect them.
