Need Email Address for Mini USA Customer Service

Deeply disappointed with my local service, was without my mini for 5 days without a loaner. Both times for reliablity issues, one was a speed sensor in the front and the second was the driver seat wouldn't recline. As I only have one car, rentals cost me 250 dollars seeing as there was only one rental agency within walking distance of the dealer.

I now have a screeching noise occasionally on takeoff on the left side and the inner left tie rod needs to be replaced. which should take another 3 dyas probably.

I would sell this car if there was no financial burden of about 5-6K.

Don't get me wrong, I love it I really do but these costs are pretty high. The replacement of the tires after 16k was another kick in the guts.

Thanks in Advance

Rotate your tires every 5K so they last until 30K-35K miles.

Call MINIUSA 1-866-ASK-MINI

Have you taled to the dealer's service manager??

yeah, on this set I am rotating every 3k, seems that not giving a loaner is standard policy. Where I am it is also the service area for BMW and my friend had a terrible experience in dealing with the service manager so I would rather not bother.

Thanks C4

Called Mini, they do not control the level of service that their dealers have, with one dealer here on the island, I have no choice.

Take it to the next level...send a registered letter to MINI USA (same postal address as BMW USA) detailing your issues. Address it to Jim McDowell, Vice President, MINI USA. Be specific about your complaints (dates, times, locations, any communications) and what outcome you would like to see.

You won't get anywhere on the loaner policy, MINI is extremely adament that loaners are at the discretion of the dealer. There is no requirement for a dealer to give you a loaner and MINI will not intercede on your behalf.

Thanks for the advice people.

For me, Loaners should be standard for warranty issues, it motivates a dealer to resolve these issues quickly.

But it's still a dealer issue, and MINIUSA rarely intercedes with dealer issues...
