R50/53 Anyone know what this means?
Black clothes seem to be always IN because they are slimming. Just put on a pair of white pants and then change into black pants and you'll see a difference! Or try a pair of blue jeans and then put on black jeans and you'll look slimmer!
I feel Black goes with everything! You can wear a Black jacket with a blue shirt, red shirt, white shirt, yellow..... ! or Black jeans with anything from poka-dots to stripes to any solid color ! Black shoes go with anything. One nice black dress is like a whole wardrobe! You can wear it anywhere, dress it up or for everyday! Wear it with a jacket or all by itself.
Black is totally accepted by everyone.
Small is the new Black!!!
I love it!!!

that reminds me of the MINI billboard I saw a few months ago in S. FL... something to the effect of "Sliced bread had a nice run." Their billboards are very catchy...and they usually make you think...lol.
I saw that billboard as I was leaving Baltimore....don't think Baltimore is a very fashionable place either??? Definitely not like NYC anyway...
but I think I agree with almedia on the meaning....thanks! I couldn't figure it out! But that makes a lot of sense....black...one of my favorite colors...hehe

...at least you GOT ads...
Here in Houston, we got nothing. No billboards, no TV, no radio, no nothing.
The cool part is that about 80% or more of the locals have never seen one of these cars, and are WAY impressed that I have one. One guy in my drum corps (after rehearsal, when we were heading for the parking lot) said "Woah, dude, there's a MINI Cooper! There's only like THREE of those in the whole state!" to which I cooly replied "No, there are more, but they ARE fairly rare around here..." and then shocked him as I opened the hatch and put my stuff in it. He was freaked that "he knows someone who drives a MINI."
I kinda LIKE not having any advertisements around here.

>>But you can't ever, EVER, EVER wear black with brown.
You have to be very careful about black with navy as well. It depends on the combo. You can't were a navy shirt with black pants for instance. Or vice versa. U sed to work for H&M on 5th Ave. I learned alot about the whole industry there.

Yes, you do have MINI billboards in Houston. I picked up my MINI at Momentum on 2/21. The next day I was heading toward downtown on Westhiemer (sp?) and noticed a MINI ad on the north side of the street.

Actually, wearing black w/chocolate brown IS the rage these days. At least here in LA and in the 'fashion' magazines. It's the "in" thing now.
