Movies with MINIs?

The "bad" MINI movie title thread got me thinking...

Other than Italian Job and it's remake, what other movies can you think of feature a MINI? (more than just a car in the background)

?

Feature both italian jobs, have as a supporting character, Bourne Identity (classic) Hitch (new), if you do a search there is a thread dedicated to MINI and Mini spottings in movies, that should have most of the big one mentioned. I don't think we have anything like Herby though.

Yeah and it went to the shop the 1st week and apperently is costing him a fortune to fix UNDER WARRANTY, so he rides around in hi sfriends lifted pickup, not that they are making a statement about small cars or anything like that

Also, not to hijack this thread but why couldn't my parents buy me a new mcs when I went off to college? I would have been so much more popular with the ladies. I drove a piece of crap chevy spectrum that i bought for 2k as a senior in HS. My MCS is the first new car that i've bought and i'm 30. If you're 18 and your parents are getting you brand new cars, what have you got to work for? where's the beauty of growing up and making your own way in the world?

Ya know there are folks who manage to work for an MCS in their teens, only help is maybe from the credit assistance so the monthly rate isn't completely outrageous, you grow up pretty quick having to pay ins.,car, rent and hold down a full time job and be a full time student. Hijack complete, resume normal operation.

I saw a glimpse of a MINI in fun with **** and Jane a CR/W.

Granted, but the guy on the tv show doesn,t seem to be working very hard to pay his bills. I put myself thru college, paying my car and insurace, rent, tuition, etc, I just don't see how I could have afforded a 30k automobile (new) on top of that. I'm bitter ok.

Well I;m in college doing the same but for a MINI, if it weren't for the help with the credit I would have been in ethier a 99 Camaro (and flat borke cause gas has gone skyward) or an '82 BMW 320IS still pre fuel injection, but I had help getting to the point were I could drive the MINI.

If only life were as easy as its shown on TV.

And to resume normal thread operation, a local housing development has something with "A brand new MINI" in there TV ad, but I can't figure out what they're doing with it.

I was told that we could see MINIs on the 'Match Point' of Scarlett Johansson.
The film is now on show at the theaters in South Korea.
I have an idea to see the movie on this weekend.

A MINI was in the gloriously devilish independent "Hard Candy"... It's topic is kinda controversial, but it is SO well done!

Wikipedia list of movies featuring MINIs

Fairly extensive list, although I'm sure they've missed one or two.

Sticking with the TV theme, there is a die-cast CR/W MC featured on "Robot Chicken." It is usally in the back ground, but in one short it does run over someone. Not a real MINI, but then "Robot Chicken" is hardly a real show .

I looked hard for a MINI or Mini in cars....there is not one...

BUT! I did spot a MINI in Oceans 12

If anyone cares to look....at the end of the movie when they are showing how the Fabergé egg was taken by a kid in a back pack...if you look at the 1st or 2nd car he walks by....it is a MINI

Check out the Internet Movies Car Database, http://www.imcdb.org/

There is a very extensive list of every manufacturer and the movies and tv shows in which their cars are featured.

I'm surprised no one mentioned Austin Powers.

"It's not the size, mate. It's how you use it."

God I love that quote.

Just saw an ad for "The Holiday" and it featured a good shot of a Chili Red/White MINI!
