I've searched looking high and low. I thought NAM had a section where people reviewed MINI dealers/repairs? It's been a while since I've been here and can't find it for the life of me.

In the meanwhile I want to take my 03 in for a tune-up/spruce-up before a road trip next month. I wanted to know which dealer in the area (Mid-state NY) would be the best to bring it to, either one in NJ or the one in Darien, CT. If anybody can point me in the right direction I'd appreciate it.

 

This very useful feature of the site was removed when the software was switched a couple of years ago, and bringing it back hasn't been made a priority. This is really a shame, because a lot of people would be saving time, money, and gray hairs if they only knew which dealers to avoid.

 

Fairfield CT does their service at the BMW dealership in Darien, $105/hr. Not bad. Westchester Mini in Elsmford, NY company owned, have no experience. Prestige Mini in Mahwah, NJ. Seperate facility. Good people. My recomendation, although I use Fairfield cause it's a mile from my house...

 

Morristown MINI has been awesome, ordering and everything has been a breeze and everyone is really nice there! Getting my MINI in 3 weeks

I take my car for Service at Morristown..and continue to. But I can't say nice things about the sales group after they removed items from my new car and tried to tell me it didnt' come with them (even though they appeared on the window sticker)

 

Since I got my 03 Cooper in Oct, I have been using BMW service in Darien.
George is the head of Mini service and is very good. Knows his Mini's and what they need.
A little pricey, and when the 03 goes out of warranty I will be looking for a privateer to do the work needed.
Any suggestions?

Morristown for sure. I love the sales and the service guys there. Everything is always great and they even put up with my idiot questions.
